A referral to our practice is not necessary, although many patients come to our practice after being referred by their General Dentist for a complex dental condition or a cosmetically sensitive dental problem. At Brisbane Prosthodontics, we frequently see patients who are seeking a second opinion on their treatment options, who need help with problematic treatment that was provided overseas, or who are just seeking the highest possible standard of dental care.

Dr Mandikos holds the titles of Visiting Specialist at the University of Queensland Dental School, Honourary Associate at the University of Sydney Faculty of Dentistry, and formerly as a Visiting Specialist Consultant to the Royal Australian Airforce. He is nationally and internationally renowned for his expertise in Prosthodontics and he serves as a Reviewer for 4 international dental journals. Dr Mandikos is regularly invited to present lecture programs and clinical technique workshops at meetings across Australia and overseas and he teaches Mini Residency training programs annually in both Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, for Dentists seeking to improve their skills and knowledge in these fields.
